Set up Your Apple Developer Account

Introduction

To upload the mobile app to the Apple App Store, invite the Shop2App team as a collaborator to your Developer Account. This will allow our team to handle app creation, modification, and management while you focus on other launch activities.

How to Enroll in the Apple Developer Program?

Step 1: Launch the latest version of the Apple Developer App on an iPhone or an iPad

Please note that you must use the same device for the entire enrollment process.

Step 2: Click on the Account tab

Step 3: Sign in using your Apple ID

Please note that this Apple ID can differ from the one signed in on your device, but it must have two-factor authentication enabled.

Step 4: If prompted, review the Apple Developer Agreement and click on Agree

Step 5: Click on Enroll Now

Step 6: Review the program benefits and requirements, then click on Continue

Step 7: Enter your personal information and, if registering as an organization, your organization's information. Detailed information on what you need to provide can be found in the Apple Developer Registration Guide

If registering as an organization, you will need a D-U-N-S Number. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun & Bradstreet and are widely used as standard business identifiers. You can look up and request a D-U-N-S Number for free.

Step 8: After submitting your information, Apple will review your application. You will receive an email with further instructions once the review is complete

How to give Shop2App Admin Access?

Step 1: Open your developer account

Step 2: Ensure you are registered as an organization

Please note that if you are not registered as an organization, refer to the section below on how to change your developer account from individual to organization.

Step 3: Click People and then select Manage Users.

Step 4: Click the add button (+)

Step 5: In the dialog that appears, enter the following details

First Name: (Your First Name)
Last Name: (Your Last Name)
Email: tech@shop2app.com

Step 6: Under Roles, select Admin

Step 7: Click Invite and you are good to go

Steps to change your developer account from an individual to an organization

Step 1: Sign in to your developer account

Step 2: On the left-hand menu click on Contact Us

Step 3: Select Membership and Account

Step 4: Click Program Enrollment

Step 5: Select Email

Step 6: Type the following: "I would like to convert my account from Individual to Organization"

Step 7: Click Submit
